Water cut for entire Pune city on 29th June

Pune: On account of urgent repair and maintenance works at Parvati Water Works, the water supply to the entire city will remain closed on Thursday. 

The Water Supply Department of the Pune Municipal Corporation has planned urgent maintenance and repair work at Parvati Water Works, Raw Water Pumping Station, water supply tanks at Vadgaon Budruk, SNDT, New Holkar and other water supply tanks in the city on 
Thursday. 

The water supply will be restored on Friday but with low pressure.
The areas not receiving water on Thursday are entire peth areas, Dattawadi, Rajendra Nagar, Lokmanya Nagar, Deccan area, Shivajinagar, Swargate, Parvati, Mukund Nagar, Sahakar Nagar, Satara Road, Padmavati, Bibvewadi, Taljai, Katraj, Dhankawadi, Indira Nagar, Karve Road, Kothrud, Dahanukar Colony, Law College Road, Erandwane and some other areas.

The areas under the Vadgaon water station like Hingne, Anand Nagar, Vadgaon Budruk,  Dhayari, Ambegaon Pathar, Dattanagar, Dhankawadi, Katraj, Bharati Vidyapeeth and Kondhwa Budruk will also not 
receive water. 

Areas like Pashan, Aundh, Bopodi, Khadki, Chatuhshrungi, Gokhale Nagar, Janwadi, Range Hills, Bavdhan, Baner, Chandni Chowk, Kishkindha Nagar, Rambaug Colony, Bhusari Colony, Dhananjay Society, Ekalavya Nagar, Mahatma Society, University of Pune, Warje, Popular Nagar, Sus, Pashan and Sutarwadi will also not 
receive water. 

Areas under Lashkar water supply centre including PCB area, Pune station, Mula Road, Koregaon Park, Tadiwala Road, Race Course, Wanawadi, Kondhwa, Hadapsar, Vishrantwadi, Yerawada, Kharadi and Chandan Nagar will face water cut.
