Wagholi local body gets nod for 3 roads

PMRDA Chief Kiran Gitte said that permissions were granted to Wagholi gram panchayat for construction of roads

Pune: The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) on Tuesday gave permission to the Wagholi gram panchayat to construct the Ivy Estate road and two others in Wagholi.

PMRDA Chief Kiran Gitte said that permissions were granted to Wagholi gram panchayat for construction of Ivy Estate road, Nagar Road to Pristine Satav Junior college Road, Baif Road to RMC Road. “The cost of building the road will be borne by the gram panchayat,” added Gitte. 

On Sunday, the residents took the initiative to start repairing the Ivy Estate road by raising funds from flat owners, prompting the gram panchayat to undertake the repair work at the earliest.
