Vakdevatha’s short film fest on Saturday; 16 films to be screened

The annual International Short Film Festival by Vakdevatha will be held on Saturday, January 26.

Pune: The annual International Short Film Festival by Vakdevatha will be held on Saturday, January 26. 

In this short film festival, 16 short films from Marathi, Hindi, English and Malayalam languages will be screened.

Veteran director Sangeeth Sivan, Radhakrishnan Chakyat, South Indian veteran actress Radha and S. Ganeshkumar, MD of Ayokifabricon Pvt Ltd, will be present. 

The screening of the short films will take place at Jnan Prabodhini School auditorium in Nigdi. Renowned artiste Aishwarya Warrier will perform Mohiniyattam based on the poem of Kavalam Narayana Panicker, artiste Kozhid M Shaji will perform one act play and Vijay Kishore will be singing old songs of golden era of Hindi films.

Best Short Film, Director, Cinematography, Editor, Actor, Actress, Child Artist will be felicitated with cash awards along with Vakdevatha Memento here. 

A special jury award for Marathi and Malayalam films will also be given on the occasion.

English Category: Nilima - Beyond The Blue An Exploration.
