PUNE: In a Good Samaritan gesture, an Uber cab driver, called up and returned to his passenger, a bag  left behind by the latter. On Monday morning, the driver, Manik Choure drove all the way to Mumbai International Airport to hand over the bag to his passenger, Mohnish Rajan. The bag contained Rajan’s passport and other important documents.

Rajan boarded the cab at his residence in Salisbury Park and got down at Pimpri to travel along with his family. But he left behind in the cab his bag containing a passport and other documents. He took his two bags but forgot the third in the cab.

When he reached Lonavla, he received a call from Choure, who informed him about the bag.  Rajan was on his way to Mumbai to board a flight to Melbourne. He got worried as he realised the bag he left in the cab had his passport and other important documents. He requested Choure to come to Mumbai, who considering the situation rushed to Mumbai and handed over to him his bag before the flight at the airport.
