Two women from Uzbekistan rescued from sex racket in city

The police said that the accused promised lucrative amounts to the women and brought them them here. They would charge heavy amounts from customers and then send these women to hotels. 

PUNE: Two women from Uzbekistan were rescued from prostitution by sleuths of the Social Security Cell (SSC) of Pune police Crime Branch from a five-star hotel in Kalyani Nagar. An FIR has been registered against five agents with the Yerawada police station. 

The police said that the accused promised lucrative amounts to the women and brought them them here. They would charge heavy amounts from customers and then send these women to hotels. 

After getting information about the sex racket, the police raided the hotel and rescued the women. They have been kept at a rescue home in Hadapsar. 

The case was registered against Vikas alias Dambar Giri Rohit, Vishal, Rahul alias Raju, John alias Prakash Sharma alias Jatin Sharma, Sagar and Toni.
