Two suspects escape in jail break in Khed

Pune: Two robbery suspects escaped from the sub-jail in Khed after cutting the grill and metal net of the window in the wee hours of Monday. 

Khed police identified the two suspects as Vishal Tandale (22) of Manchar, Pune district and Rahul Goyekar (26), a resident of Karjat in Ahmednagar district. 

According to the police, the duo was arrested for allegedly looting Rs 17,000 from a person. They escaped around 4 am after cutting the grill and metal net of the window in the toilet room. After that they climbed the wall to flee.
