Two succumb to swine flu in PCMC

A 33-year-old woman from Hinjewadi and a 63-year-old man from Pimple Nilakh died of swine flu at private hospitals in Pimpri-Chinchwad, taking the toll in the city to 34 this year. 

PIMPRI: Swine flu claimed two more lives in Pimpri-Chinchwad. These deaths were reported to Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) Health Department by private hospitals on August 18 and 19.

A 33-year-old woman from Hinjewadi and a 63-year-old man from Pimple Nilakh died of swine flu at private hospitals in Pimpri-Chinchwad, taking the toll in the city to 34 this year. 

Currently, the condition of one swine flu patient is critical. Both deceased had developed influenza-like symptoms a week ago. They were admitted to different city hospitals. They succumbed to swine flu induced complications on August 15 and 16 respectively.
