Two Hindu Rashtra Sena members externed from dist for two years

The externed persons were identified as Akshay Kakade (25), a resident of Sasane Nagar and Preetan alias Prem Sutar (22), a resident of Fursungi. Both men are accused in Mohsin Sheikh murder case and were released on bail.

PUNE: Two members of Hindu Rashtra Sena have been externed from Pune district for two years. 

Hadapsar police issued the order in this regard on Wednesday. 

The externed persons were identified as Akshay Kakade (25), a resident of Sasane Nagar and Preetan alias Prem Sutar (22), a resident of Fursungi. Both men are accused in Mohsin Sheikh murder case and were released on bail. However, they were booked by Hadapsar police for body offences committed after their release. 

Kakade was booked for three body offences and Sutar for five body offences. Akshay Kakade was also booked by the Kondhwa police for putting inflammatory posts regarding a community in December 2017. 

Police Inspector Vishnu Pawar of Hadapsar police station said, “Despite being released on bail in the murder of Mohsin Sheikh, the duo did not mend their ways and continued indulging in several criminal activities, which is why we took action and externed them from the district.”
