Two arrested for vehicle thefts

Police Inspector Sitaram More said that the accused wanted to sell two wheelers for Rs 2,000. In another incident, Police Inspector Nitin Bhosale-Patil said that Akash Gole (20), was nabbed by crime branch unit I near Ashish Garden. Gole was on a two-wheeler without any number plate. Further investigation revealed that Gole was involved in the theft of five two-wheelers

Pune: Officials of the city police crime branch unit I and III nabbed two persons involved in stealing two-wheelers, and recovered 12 stolen two-wheelers from the accused. According to Assistant Commissioner of Police Suresh Bhosale, in the first incident on August 5, a history sheeter, Mahesh Jadhav (26), was nabbed by officials of crime branch unit III near Tilak Road. Jadhav was nabbed with a scooter and further investigation revealed that he was involved in the theft of six more two-wheelers.
