Earlier, the Pune-Jammu Tavi Jhelum Express was running from platform number one. Now, the train is departing from the platform number three. Similarly, the Pune-Howrah Azad Hind Express departed from platform number one and now is now departing from platform number three. The platform number has been changed only for those trains which depart from Pune junction.

The Deccan Queen, which departed from platform number one, now departs from platform number five. In February, railway officials had changed the departure platform of Deccan Queen after authorities decided to attach an additional coach. With these trains becoming 24-coach trains, only platform number one could accommodate them.
