PUNE: After two extended deadlines, a total of 21,122 students were admitted to Std XI at the Arts, Science and Commerce colleges in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad in the first round of admissions under online Centralised Admission Process (CAP).
While earlier, the deadline for admissions was July 9, it was extended twice.
Due to this, the schedule of admissions has changed.
The second merit list, which was earlier scheduled to be declared on July 13, will now be released on July 16.
So far, 41,961 students have been allotted colleges, out of which 17,189 students had received colleges as per their first preference.
Till now, 20,510 students, who were allotted colleges in the first merit list, have not taken admissions.
The colleges will declare their vacant seats and cut-offs after the first admission round on the website on July 12.
The candidates can make changes in their preference list for the second merit list on July 12 and 13.
The students who have not yet filled their application forms for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP), can complete their form filling procedure now.
