Three persons arrested from Madhya Pradesh in `97.2 lakh burglary case

Pune: Three persons were arrested by the Nigdi police in a Rs 97.2 lakh burglary case. The burglary took place on Saturday night near Bhakti Shakti Chowk. 

The accused were arrested by the police from Khandwa railway station in Madhya Pradesh on Monday. One of the accused was identified as Govind Pariyar, a native of Nepal, who used to work as a security guard at the bungalow of complainant Vinod Agrawal in Nigdi. Pariyar and his two accomplices committed the burglary in the absence of the complainant.

Ornaments and electronic items were stolen from the three-storeyed bungalow. The incident came to light on Sunday morning when the family returned home. The police said the security guard had put CCTV cameras at the bungalow off before committing the crime.
