Three juveniles nabbed for stealing mobile phones

“A trap was laid and the boys were nabbed. In all 22 mobile phones worth Rs 1.75 lakh were recovered from them,” added Sonawane. The police said the boys stole phones from hostels in Narhe. 

PUNE: Officials of Sinhagad Road police station nabbed three juveniles involved in stealing mobile phones from different boys’ hostels near Sinhagad Road. In all 22 mobile phones were recovered from them. 

According to Senior Police Inspector Vishnu Jagtap, there were frequent complaints from students about their mobile phones being stolen from the hostels. Accordingly a team from Sinhagad police station started  investigation. Police Sub Inspector Girish Sonawane said the police received a tip-off about some boys coming to sell mobile phones at a shop.
