Three booked for burglary worth Rs52L

Three persons were booked by the Market Yard police after ornaments worth Rs 52 lakh were stolen from a bungalow in Premnagar area of Market Yard. 

Pune: Three persons were booked by the Market Yard police after ornaments worth Rs 52 lakh were stolen from a bungalow in Premnagar area of Market Yard. 

As per information given by the Market Yard police, the incident took place between January 9 and 10 when the complainant Girish Shah (58) had gone to Mumbai to meet his relatives. 

The Market Yard police said that as per the complaint of Shah, they have booked the watchman and maid servants working in the bungalow.
 
Girish had locked the bungalow but some unidentified persons used cutters and blades to break open the window grills and enter the bungalow. 

Based on the complaint, police have lodged a case against three persons.

Police inspector SS Satav is investigating the burglary case.
