After Bengaluru and Hyderabad, DIIA is organising third Regional Activator seminar on the theme ‘Building Alliance for Self-Reliance’ in Pune on December 21.

Eminent speakers from the industry, academia and the government will interact with our audience - over 150 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), from in and around Pune. “The conference will help industries, academia, associations support to identify potential areas of business, provide active interface opportunities, provide partnering opportunities in indigenisation projects, etc. DIIA believes that indigenous design, development and manufacture in the defence sector, especially at the level of MSMEs, is essential to the success of Make in India. At present, the country is importing about 70 per cent of defence sector products and our aim is to make them in the country itself,” said organising committee member Harshvardhan Gune.
