Thieves steal mobile toilet in Tathawade

Pune: A mobile toilet kept by Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation at Tathawade under the Prime Minister’s Swachh Bharat Mission was stolen by unknown thieves last month. A case in this regard was registered on Monday at Hinjewadi police station.

According to the information provided by Hinjewadi police, around ten mobile toilets were kept at various locations in the city under the initiative. The stolen toilet which was mounted at a trolley was parked at Mumbai-Bengaluru highway for the use of nearby slum dwellers. However, it went missing since April 10 and is suspected to be stolen by the thieves.
