Acting on a tip-off received by police constable Nitin Mundhe and PSI Mangesh Bhange, on Thursday a team nabbed Sagar Dattatray Bhalerao (21) and Swapnil Namdev Girme (24), both residents of Hadapsar, who currently reside in Alandi.

DCP (Zone 5) Prakash Gaikwad said, “For the last two months, the accused persons had joined a satsang workshop in Alandi. They used to attend the programme for a few hours in the morning and evening and then commit thefts during the night. After keeping a watch on them for a few days, they were finally arrested on Thursday in Hadapsar market.”
