Teachers’ Day celebrated at YMCA recently

Ashish Tavakaar spoke about the current education system and also mentioned that the responsibility of the teachers has increased many folds.

Pune: Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) celebrated ‘Teachers Day’ recently by felicitating over 80 teachers from 27 various schools across the city. As many as 11 teachers who will retire from the services this academic year from different schools were also felicitated on the occasion.

Ashish Tavakaar spoke about the current education system and also mentioned that the responsibility of the teachers has increased many folds. He also touched upon the subject of addiction among the young students during the event. 

Ashok Dhamankar of Magna Publication was the chief guest for the function. YMCA President Vivek Arhana welcomed the guest. Deepak Londhe, General Secretary, YMCA spoke during the event while Pravin Mackenzie proposed a vote of thanks.
