Swine flu death toll reaches to 35

He was admitted to Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital in Chinchwad on August 14, after he had developed symptoms of influenza. He was put on a ventilator from August 15. He succumbed to swine flu induced complication on August 22

Pimpri: Swine flu claimed one more life in Pimpri-Chinchwad on Tuesday, taking the death toll due to H1N1 virus infection to 35 so far this year. A 48-year-old man, a resident of Rahatani, is the latest victim.

He was admitted to Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital in Chinchwad on August 14, after he had developed symptoms of influenza. He was put on a ventilator from August 15. He succumbed to swine flu induced complication on August 22.

This year, 50 patients were put on the ventilator while 35 people have died.
