Sanjay B Chordiya, Founder President of Suryadatta Group of Institutions, announced free scholarships to family members of policemen, armed forces, veer naris and veer purush for short duration courses (skill development courses).

Pune: Suryadatta Group of Institutions organised Suryadatta Edu-Socio Connect Initiative-2017 for the welfare of family members of policemen, armed forces, veer naaris and veer purush on July 31.

Sanjay B Chordiya, Founder President of Suryadatta Group of Institutions, announced free scholarships to family members of policemen, armed forces, veer naris and veer purush for short duration courses (skill development courses). These courses will be offered free of cost from August 1 to July 30, 2018. 

The skill development courses include fashion designing, interior designing, spoken English, baking and cookery, travel and tourism, computer literacy, foreign language, artificial jewellery design, beauty and make-up and making 50 types of spices apart from jam, jelly and sauce. Sarees were also gifted to all the narees, in advance as a token of appreciation for Rakshabandhan.

Maninderjeet Singh Bitta, Chairman of All India Anti-Terrorist Front, presided over the event as chief guest and stressed on how love for motherland is superior to all countrymen, and nobody need to feel shy from praising one’s motherland. He highlighted how our men in uniform face difficult situations in line of duty, and embrace martyrdom without any second thoughts.

Nitin Karmalkar, Vice Chancellor of Savitribai Phule Pune University,  insisted on how youths of our country can voluntarily give some years of their life for their country by serving in various arms of our defence forces. 

After the address, the guests of honour felicitated the veer naaris that were present for the event.
