Sustainable ideas like making ‘Tree Ganesh’ idols or clay idols, which are made entirely out of organic materials, were shared

Pune: Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated in The Orbis School, Mundhwa, by welcoming Lord Ganesh in an eco-friendly manner. The students of school were sensitised about ways of celebrations that can help keep the rivers clean and water animals safe. The event was the highlight among all events planned under their August Mirror banner.

Sustainable ideas like making ‘Tree Ganesh’ idols or clay idols, which are made entirely out of organic materials, were shared.

This was followed by hands-on activity where the children were provided with natural clay to create their own Ganesh idol.
