Pune: While it is said that things happen at the click of a mouse online, students aspiring for admission in First Year Junior College (FYJC) experience otherwise. Students have been facing problems in setting passwords required to log in repeatedly while filling the forms.

Students said that many times they forget the passwords, which are reset after the original password is generated by the server. However, they claimed that whenever they tried to click on ‘Forgot Password,’ the website either showed an error message or processed slowly, delaying the procedure further or only to show ‘time out’ message.
Students ultimately had to visit the centres as the website would not respond smoothly, adding further to their woes.
“I had trouble logging on to the website after I changed the password because I forgot it. So I had to come to the guidance centre to check the list and carry out the procedure until my password was reset,” said one of the students at the guidance centre at Modern College.
Another student, who had come to the guidance centre at Garware College all the way from Daund, said, “Since the beginning, we had problems logging on to the website. Earlier, the password couldn’t be changed. So we have to come to the guidance centre each time as the site doesn’t open.”
Even after several attempts, officials from Deputy Director of Education didn’t respond.
