PUNE: For the first time, the State Common Entrance Test (CET) will be held online. The Maharashtra CET Cell has organised an online mock test for students to practise answering the exam online.

MH-CET will be conducted between May 2 and May 13 at different exam centres.

The State Cell asserted that the practice test has no link with the main test. Therefore, any marks obtained in the practice test will not be considered for the final. Students will have to carry their HSC hall tickets for this test.

The cell has also stated that in order to make students, especially those from rural areas, aware about the computer-based test, the cell has organised a 10-day practice test for all, which will be held between April 12 and April 30.

The students are required to register online for the practice test before 12 noon on April 10.

However, due to a lack of awareness about the test, not many students have enrolled for the test, said an official from the CET Cell. Therefore, the cell has to make as many as possible enrollments till April 10.
