SPECTRUM 2017 takes off at St Mira’s College for Girls
The two events, Mad Ads and Team Building competition was organised on the first day of the festival. More than thirty colleges from Pune participated in this festival
Pune: After an overwhelming response last year, St Mira’s College for Girls is back with SPECTRUM 2017.
SPECTRUM 17 - Unleash the skills within - is an annual inter-college festival organised by the Department Of Business Studies aimed towards the young aspiring minds in the corporate field. The two-day festival started on Friday.
The Principal of St Mira’s College, Dr GH Gidwani inaugurated the event at St Mira’s College.
The two events, Mad Ads and Team Building competition was organised on the first day of the festival. More than thirty colleges from Pune participated in this festival.
Mad Ads was judged by self-made entrepreneur Sumit Tejwani and Navin Toshan, Marketing Manager 95 Big FM, Maharashtra. Mad Ads tested the participants on their salesmanship skills, creativity, and effective team presentation. “These kinds of events give students knowledge beyond the theoretical part. It plays a very important role in building a path for their respective future and also makes them clear about their niche”, said Navin Toshan, one of the judges of Mad Ads.
Team Building was the second event on the first day. This competition was to test team spirit, coordinations, and efficiency of the students. The judges for this activity were Ashita Bose and Navita Shedkar. Around 200 students across Pune participated in this event.
