Special train between Pune and Patna starts

Pune: Railways has decided to run a special train between Pune and Patna from November 8. It will make a single trip only from Pune side. 

According to the Railways, “Train number 02149 superfast special train will leave Pune at 10.30 am on November 8 and arrive in Patna at 6.45 pm the next day. The train will halt at Lonavla, Panvel, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Chheoki and Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction.”

The train will have four sleeper class, seven second class seating and five general second class compartments.

On Tuesday, Sakal Times had published a report that North-bound passengers were waiting for a special train on Diwali and Chhath Puja.
 
Similarly, the Central Railway will run a special train between Pune and Indore to clear the extra rush of passengers. As per details shared by officials, train number 09303 Special will leave Pune at 9.30 pm on November 11 and arrive in Indore at 2.30 pm the next day. The train number 09304 special will leave Indore at 9 pm on November 10 and reach Pune at 3.15 pm the next day.


The train will halt at Lonavla, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Vadodara Junction, Ratlam, Ujjain and Lakshmibai Nagar. It will have composition of one AC-2 Tier, three AC-3 Tier, 12 sleeper class and 6 general second class. Reservations for train number 09303 Special will begin at all computerised reservation centres and website

www.irctc.co.in from November 8. General second class coaches on this train will run as unreserved accommodation and tickets can be booked through UTS system, said a statement released by the Railways.
