Socio-techno fest ‘Acclivity 2K18’ concludes

Pune: The two-day annual national level Socio-Techno Fest ‘Acclivity 2K18’ concluded on Thursday. It was organised by TSSM’s Padmabhooshan Vasantdada Patil Institute of Technology, Bavdhan. 

The aim was to promote technical innovations at diploma, degree and postgraduate level and encourage future entrepreneurs.

Students showcased their creativity and innovative ideas during this fest via 22 vibrant events based on the theme of ‘Levitating Livelihood through Smart City Project’.

The aim was to promote technical innovations at diploma, degree and postgraduate level and encourage future entrepreneurs.

Students showcased their creativity and innovative ideas during this fest via 22 vibrant events based on the theme of ‘Levitating Livelihood through Smart City Project’.

The fest was inaugurated on Wednesday by chief guest Dr SA Patil, DGM ARAI Academy and guest of honour Dr Sangeeta Kale, Head, MMG DIAT. The other dignitaries like Prof GT Sawant, Secretary of TSSM, Dr PP Vitkar, Executive Director, JSPM, Dr CM Sedani, Principal, and Prof MV Khot, Chief Coordinator of Acclivity, were also present. 

More than 1,500 participants showcased their talent and flair in various technical events conducted under the guidance of the institute's President Dr TJ Sawant. 

The students belonging to various branches of engineering presented thought-provoking and eco-friendly models and exhibited different skills. The event was executed by Prof MV Khot, Dr PM Bagade, Dr YB Gurav, Dr RK Kulkarni, Rohit Ambekar, General Secretary, Heads of Departments, teachers, non-teaching staff and students.

The events 
-Mega-events of different branches like Robo Trekking, Cad War, Robo Race, Robo Wrestling, DOTA-2, Arduino Exhibition, Buzz the Brain and Constructional Crafting were held.
