Pune: Manojit Bose, Chief Knowledge Officer of Pune Smart City Development Corporation Limited (PSDCL) said that even smaller companies can join the consortiums to partner with Smart Cities in infrastructural development and project implementation.
He was speaking at the Smart, Sustainable and Livable Cities conference for the success of Smart City Projects through the ‘smart’ exchange of ideas, on Monday.
Bose said, “No company can alone solve all the issues. Pune Smart City is open to all ideas and solutions from people. They can submit their ideas through the ‘Hackathon’ which is a unique initiative undertaken by Pune Smart City in partnership with NITI Aayog,”
Rajendra Jagtap, CEO, PSCDCL, said, “While addressing Traffic and Urban Mobility issues, there are a few concerns faced by many Smart Cities. PSCDCL is successfully undertaking innovative projects and expanding its operations in Smart Public Bicycle Sharing for the last mile connectivity and e-mobility.” Representatives from various industries at the conference said,
“Valuable inputs received here will help partnering in Smart City projects thanks to the participation of thought leaders, policy makers, industry experts, and other relevant stakeholders.”
