Singapore govt shows interest in helping PMRDA in devp works

Pune: Officials of the Singapore government and Pune Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (PMRDA) on Friday held a meeting with Pune Guardian Minister Girish Bapat as the Singapore government has shown a positive interest in helping PMRDA in framing the development control and promotion regulations for the Pune metropolitan region. 

Earlier, a meeting regarding the same was held between CM Fadnavis and Singapore govt officials. 

Pune: Officials of the Singapore government and Pune Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (PMRDA) on Friday held a meeting with Pune Guardian Minister Girish Bapat as the Singapore government has shown a positive interest in helping PMRDA in framing the development control and promotion regulations for the Pune metropolitan region. 

Earlier, a meeting regarding the same was held between CM Fadnavis and Singapore govt officials. 

Speaking about the meeting, PMRDA Chief Kiran Gitte said that Singapore government is helping Maharashtra in various development projects and has also decided to help PMRDA for development of Pune metropolitan region. “The work done by Singapore government is appreciated at the international level and their help and support is always beneficial for PMRDA,” added Gitte. 

Officials of PMRDA and Singapore government also visited the site at Chakan MIDC where they have planned to build a container port and logistics centre.
