Pune: Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS) is hosting TEDxSIUKirkee 2017, an independently organised TED event on September 10. The theme for this year is 'Excogitating the Unfolding' - Excogitate means to think out, plan or devise and Unfolding refers to the future which is yet to unfold.
The event will be hosting speakers from the plethora of fields including lawyers, corporate heads, entrepreneurs, sports players, social activists and poets who will shed light on entrepreneurial philanthropy, sex worker rights, and development of Maanav Suraksha Kanoon (MASUKA).
The speakers will also share their own insights and learnings obtained from their personal and professional lives.
Speakers include Tehseen Poonawalla, entrepreneur, Yuvraj Walmiki, National hockey player, Brig HS Kaura, veteran army officer, Seema Waghmode, social worker and project director of Kayakalpa, Deep Das Gupta, former Indian cricketer and commentator, Priyanka Menon, author, Abhinav Shankar Narayan, founder and MD of Namma Crossfit in Bengaluru and Dr Suneet Gupta, lawyer.
