SILC to hold course on short film making

Pune: The Sakal International Learning Centre (SILC) will hold a seven-weekend (theoretical and practical) course on short film making from August 19, 2017.

The best short film made by participants of this course will be shortlisted and screened on SAAM TV. Renowned and experienced faculty from the film industry will train the participants in different aspects of film making like script writing, cinematography, video editing and direction. The 14-day weekend course will be conducted by well-known faculties like Samar Nakhate, Prasad Mirasdar, Vivek Apte, Ravin Apte and Sachin Wagh, among others.

Through this course, participants will be motivated to make their career in film making. They can make their own short films and can nominate the film for awards Participants above 18 years of age can be a part of this course. The fees for the course is Rs 17,400.
