Shivshahi bus collides with a car near Khadki

The incident took place at around 2.30 pm. As per the witness, the car overtook the bus and applied brakes suddenly. Due to this, the bus and the car collided. The family inside the car called the police.

Pune: A Shivshahi bus coming from Nashik to Pune met with an accident with a four-wheeler near Khadki Cantonment. The bus was carrying around 50 passengers and there were four persons inside the car but no casualties were reported. 

Shivshahi buses are run by the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) from Shivajinagar stand.

The incident took place at around 2.30 pm. As per the witness, the car overtook the bus and applied brakes suddenly. Due to this, the bus and the car collided. The family inside the car called the police.

According to MSRTC sources, the FIR was not registered as the matter was settled after talks. The owner of car demanded Rs 5,000 from the driver. The driver gave the amount and the matter was resolved.
