Pune: It seems that the infighting in the city unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the style of functioning of Chairman and Managing Director of Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has not stopped yet. While the temporary patch up between the BJP and the PMPML Chief Mundhe is sought by City Mayor Mukta Tilak, the city BJP MP Anil Shirole praised Mundhe for improving the  public transport of the city.

Shirole met Mundhe at his office on Wednesday and reviewed the work done by the latter after taking over charge of the ailing PMPML. Shirole was accompanied by PMPML Director Siddharth Shirole. MP Shirole discussed the decisions taken by Mundhe and the plans chalked out by Mundhe for PMPML to execute in future.

“Under the guidance of Mundhe the PMPML is doing better and under his charge, the PMPML will become one of the best public transports in the country,” Shirole said.

Mundhe who was earlier avoiding politicians coming to meet him at his office happily met Shirole. The MP even felicitated Mundhe for his work with offering a shawl and bouquet which was duly accepted by Mundhe. But the visit raised the eyebrows of the BJP leadership in the PMC as they targeted Mundhe for his style of functioning and not getting along with leaders when it comes to running the PMPML administration.
