Pune: “Without experienced faculty members, students won’t get quality education,” said Jagdish Mukhi, Governor of Assam, on the occasion of 20th Foundation Day Of Suryadatta Group (SG) Of Institutes, Pune on Wednesday.
Mukhi said, “Youngsters get motivated when recognition through such awards is given to prominent personalities. Such awards create a sense of responsibility for youngsters to make India proud in any field they aspire.”
Along with the Foundation Day, the Institute held its 16th National Award function.
On this occasion, famous personalities from various fields were felicitated with Suryadatta Lifetime Achievement Awards, Suryadatta National Awards, Suryadatta Adarsh Mata Awards and Suryadatta Young Achiever Awards 2018.
On this occasion Sanjay Chordiya, Founder President and Chairman Of the Institute felicitated Mukhi. Chordiya said, “After the inauguration of this institute on February 1999 each year we promote education to a new level. In this institute not only theoretical education is given importance but also activities which cover the non-theoretical bit are given importance.”
The guest of honour was Sudhanshuji Maharaj, a preacher and founder of Vishwa Jagriti Mission. He said, “There should be equality among all. Prominent personalities should motivate and encourage others, especially the youngsters as they are the future of the country.”
