Officials of the city police rescued four Thai nationals from being forced into flesh trade after a raid on a spa in Viman Nagar Avenue II on Thursday night.

Pune : Officials of the city police rescued four Thai nationals from being forced into flesh trade after a raid on a spa in Viman Nagar Avenue II on Thursday night.

Police said, the racket was being run by a suspect identified as Bantikumar Patel (27), a resident of Meera Nagar Society, Koregaon Park and a 24-year-old woman from Nagaland who stays in Kondhwa. 

Police said that the accused had been running the spa at Gulmohar Society. “The suspects had allegedly brought the Thai women to Pune, under the pretext of the job as masseuses and trafficked them into flesh trade instead. The victims have been sent to rescue home.” said a police official.
