Sena MP Barne seeks more trains for North Indians

Member of Parliament from Maval Lok Sabha constituency, Shrirang Barne is now singing a tune different from that of his party, Shiv Sena's, 'Marathi Manoos' tune and is batting for North Indians living in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad.

Pimpri: Member of Parliament from Maval Lok Sabha constituency, Shrirang Barne is now singing a tune different from that of his party, Shiv Sena's, 'Marathi Manoos' tune and is batting for North Indians living in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad.
Barne has written to Railway Minister Piyush Goyal to increase the number of trains towards the northern states for the convenience of the North Indian community in the city.

 Barne in his letter to the railway minister, stated that "A large number of northern India citizens have settled in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad for the work, jobs, business and education. So while travelling to their native place and coming back to the city there are very few train trips on specific days of the week. But in fact, there is need of daily train towards north India from Pune."

Members of the North Indian Passenger Association are constantly approaching Barne with the demand to increase the number of trains. Accordingly, Barne has insisted on a meeting with Goyal to put forth the demand.

Gulab Tiwari, Ramchandra Thakur, Rajendra Pandey and Subhash Singh of North Indian Passengers Association were also present.
