Claims NCP is taking credit for work done by other parties

Pune: Several Shiv Sena members staged a protest at the Zilla Parishad (ZP) office on Monday, alleging that the show at the ZP office is run by NCP leader and Member of Parliament Supriya Sule.

The Sena members alleged ill-treatment at the ZP office and claimed officials are giving preference to the ruling party. The members also alleged that MP Supriya Sule is taking credit for work done by members of other parties.

The protesters had brought along a ‘potraj’, who was dancing outside the ZP office. Members of the Shiv Sena also used bells during the protest. The protest was called off after intervention by Chief Executive Officer of ZP Suraj Mandhare.

An official from the ZP office said there is a fight for credit going on between several parties. Another ZP official said, “The NCP should stop taking credit for work done by other parties.”
