Pune: On Ruby Hall Clinic’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) completing 25 years, Grant Medical Foundation is holding a seminar to mark the event, ‘Ruby Criticon 2017: Going Beyond the End of the Road’. The seminar began on Saturday.

This 2-day event is a scientific feast of contemporary knowledge supporting critical care standards. All critical care specialists and students can attend it at. The seminar concludes on Sunday. Dr Sanjay Pathare, Director, Medical Services, Ruby Hall Clinic said the last few years have seen a drastic improvement in the treatment options and patient care in critical care.

“The goal of this is to improve  the understanding of factors related to access and delivery of critical and acute care, both at a local and global level,” said Pathare.

Bomi Bhote, CEO, Ruby Hall Clinic said that as a result of the ever-changing healthcare climate, critical care medicine is emerging as an important sub-specialty in the field of medicine.

“Critical care physicians come from a variety of training backgrounds, each offering unique and valuable skills but with varying amounts of experience with patients,” said Bhote.
