Second round of Std XI admissions underway

Pune: After the first round of Std XI Online Centralised Admission Process (CAP) finished on July 14, with 23,256 students taking admission to the colleges allotted to them in the first list, the second round of admissions began on Saturday, July 15.

The students who are waiting to see their names on the merit list in the second round, or those hoping for a change of college, can update their preference list by 5 pm on Tuesday, July 18. To do so, students can log in through their student ids on the website www.pune.11thadmission.net. Then, under 'My Profile', they can select the option 'My Status' and click on 'Click/Edit Choices' option  that appears against Centralised Quota Choice Filling Status.

“The students are advised to take care of not clicking on the 'Click here to view/Print Registration Form Part 2' before making changes to preference list, as it will lock the form and the preference list that was uploaded the first time will be considered for second round as well,” said Meenakshi Raut, Assistant Director of Education, Pune Region and Secretary, Online Centralised Admission Control Committee, Pune.

“There were some students who could not complete Part 2 of their forms before the admission process for the first round started. All these students can also go to the guidance centre near them, and get Part 1 of the form approved in order to fill in Part 2 and join the admission process,” Raut added.

She added that all those students who have not yet applied for CAP at all, also have a chance to do so till July 18, in case they want to.

Raut stated that students who have filled the form once should not try to do it again, as then their seat number and year will be blocked.

The second merit list for the admissions will be out on July 20 at 5 pm.
