Pune: After getting rescheduled twice, the second merit list for the general round of admissions for Std XI was finally declared on Thursday. The admissions in the second round under the online Centralised Admission Process (CAP) will take place till July 21.
A total of 25,676 students were allotted colleges in the second merit list, out of which 8,552 have received the colleges of their first preference. It is mandatory for students who have been allotted the colleges of their first preference in this round itself. The rest can wait for the third merit list which is scheduled to be declared on July 26. They can also make changes to their preference lists on July 23 and 24, and those who haven’t yet filled the forms at all can also join the process now on these days.
After the first round of admissions, 21,122 students took admissions for Std XI at Arts, Science and Commerce colleges in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad.
