Pune: The schedule for the ‘first come first served’ (FCFS) round for the admissions to Std XI under online Centralised Admission Process (CAP) has been declared on the website.
The admissions will be conducted in three categories – firstly for those who have scored above 80 per cent, followed with those with 60 per cent and above, and lastly for those who have scored 35 per cent and above.
The students, who have been allotted colleges in the earlier round but still haven’t been admitted including those who were allotted colleges of their first preference, will be eligible for this round. Also, the students who have not been allotted any college till special round 1, those who have cancelled the admissions, as well as those who have been rejected till the earlier round will be able to take admissions in the FCFS round.
The process will start on August 25 with the overall vacancy list for the FCFS round of the first category students being displayed, and the FCFS panel will be active for the eligible students to seek admissions on August 27. These students will be able to take admissions to the allotted colleges on August 27 and 28. The vacancy list for the second category students will be displayed on August 28 followed by admissions till August 30, and the students in category 3 will be able to take admissions till September 1 after their vacancy list has been displayed on August 30.
The overall vacancy list for the FCFS round 2 will be displayed on September 2. The details of the schedule and admissions have been uploaded on the website. Also, those who wish to cancel their admissions in the earlier rounds can do so on August 21 till 6 pm.
