Pune: As part of the study series started by Sakal for Std X students, a workshop has been organised for the students appearing for SSC (Secondary School Certificate) and their parents on Sunday, August 19.
The workshop and the study series have been formed to clear any doubts in the minds of the students and parents regarding new syllabus and paper pattern.
Shakuntala Kale, Chairperson, Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), Sunil Magar, Director, State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), educationists AL Deshmukh, Umesh Pradhan will be present at the workshop to guide the participants. Along with the changes in the syllabus and examination pattern, the students will also be guided on effective study methods, solving question paper, etc.
As the syllabus is new this year, the workshop will help parents understand which topics to emphasise on. They will also be able to devise methods to make children study better.
While registration through call is mandatory for attending the workshop, the registrations will be made on first come first served basis.
