Pune: There was a commotion at the ticket counter of the Sinhagad Fort on Saturday, as the tourist vehicles were banned from going inside due to repair work carried out after landslides in the ghat section. However, the local jeeps were permitted to go inside carrying tourists while only the private cars were not allowed.

Every year, during the festive season of Diwali, thousands of tourists visit the Sinhagad Fort. This year was no different.

The anxious tourists were demanding that their private vehicles be allowed to travel inside the Fort. The tourists also had a bitter conversation with the security guards of the Fort for not allowing them to commute by their private vehicles.

The anxious tourists even questioned the security guards about the biased steps taken against them. In such a situation, the officials of Forest Department were not available on the spot and the security guards were alone handling the situation.
