Rosary School’s 1st Investiture-cum-Felicitation Ceremony

Pune: The first Investiture-cum-Felicitation ceremony of the Rosary Global Education Group was held on August 22. It was a combined function of The Rosary SSC School and ICSE School. 

Maj Gen NM Rasquinha (retd) presided over the function and Sandra Rasquinha distributed the prizes to those who had done outstandingly well in the SSC, HSC and ICSE examinations. 

A special feature of this year’s function was the felicitation of parents of award winners who were called on the stage along with their children.

This was a proud moment for the parents and the children.
After installing the Council of Prefects, Maj Gen Rasquinha praised the high level of discipline. He stressed upon the importance of leadership and training those who are future leaders. 

Usha Pereira, representing the management, administered the oath of office to both councils of prefects. 

She asked them to be outstanding leaders in the future and to help and assist their teachers in the school and set a good example for the rest of the students. 

Sandra Rasquinha gave awards to those who were outstanding in academics. Rishikesh Patil was honoured for achieving the first place in HSC examination  while Nidhi Kothari was awarded for performance in SSC examination. 

Tushar Agarwal and Srishti Agarwal were honoured for securing l00 per cent marks in Mathematics.

Himanshu Kodre of the Rosary ICSE School was among the toppers and had the special distinction of securing 100 per cent marks in Social Science. Himanshu Kodre thanked the management and staff for guiding the students not only for this year but for the past 45 years through thick and thin and always stoob by students. The school choirs were appreciated for their performance.
