Revolver, ornaments worth Rs 1.11 crore stolen from builder

A watchman and his three accomplices allegedly decamped with gold, silver, diamond ornaments and a foreign made revolver totally worth Rs 1.11 crore from the house of a builder.

Pune: A watchman and his three accomplices allegedly decamped with gold, silver, diamond ornaments and a foreign made revolver totally worth Rs 1.11 crore from the house of a builder. The incident took place at Labde Residency in Karve Nagar between January 3 and 5 when the builder and his family had gone out of Pune.  

Prathmesh Labde has lodged an FIR in this regard with Warje Malwadi police station. The police have booked the watchman Raju alias Dhanraj Acharya (35), his wife Shanta and their two friends.  According to the police, the accused had entered the bedroom decamped with a revolver worth Rs 30,000, a camera worth Rs 25,000 and ornaments, totally worth Rs 1.11 crore.
