RCPY to organise Futfive turf soccer tournament

Pune: Rotaract Club of Pune’s Yuva (RCPY), a non-profit organisation, will be organising Futfive, a turf soccer tournament. It is gradually becoming a very popular sport and the aim of this tournament is to gather enthusiasts in large numbers at Sports Galaxy Turf, Kondhwa, on September 30 and October 1.

The event will see 64 teams competing for top honours, with separate rounds for corporate teams.

It has been widely followed on social media in the past, with active participation from major companies.

This is the second season of Futfive. The funds raised in the event will be shared between the club fund and various NGOs.

RCPY is an organisation for supports development in genres like community service, club service, professional development and international service.

The club falls under the parent club, Rotary Club of Pune Parvati in district 3131, Zone 3.

Rotaract focuses on the development of young adults as leaders in their communities and workplaces.

These events increase the visibility of hidden talents in individuals, in the fields of creativity, dancing etc.

RCPY also harmonizes a city level football tournament, which gives an opportunity to all sports enthusiasts to compete in a grand football festival.
