Railways to run express from Pune to Santragachi

The Railways has decided to run a new weekly Humsafar Express between Pune and Santragachi for the benefit of passengers from August 13.

Pune: The Railways has decided to run a new weekly Humsafar Express between Pune and Santragachi for the benefit of passengers from August 13.

As per the information provided by the Pune railway division office, train number 20821 Humsafar Express will leave Pune at 10.30 am every Monday and arrive in Santragachi at 6.15 pm next day. 

Similarly, 20822 Humsafar Express will leave Santragachi at 6.25 pm every Saturday and arrive in Pune at 2.45 am the next day. This schedule will begin from August 11.

The train will halt at Panvel, Kalyan, Bhusaval, Nagpur, Gondia, Durg, Raipur, Bilaspur, Jharsuguda, Chakradharpur, Tatanagar and Kharagpur. It will have 16 AC 3 tier coaches.

Special train 

The railway administration will run a special train between Chennai Central and Ahmedabad via Pune and Lonavla from August 11 to October 1 (8 trips each side). The train will have two AC 3 tier coaches, 10 sleeper coaches, 2 general coaches and 2 SLR coaches. Train number 06051 Chennai-Ahmedabad will depart from Chennai Central at 8.10 pm every Saturday. It will arrive in Pune on Sunday at 5.15 pm and depart at 5.20 pm and arrive at Lonavla at 7.18 pm and depart at 7.20 pm.
