PVPIT to hold national level socio techno fest

Pune: The TSSM’s Padmabhooshan Vasantdada Patil Institute of Technology (PVPIT), Bavdhan, will be organising a two-day annual national level Socio Techno Fest ‘Acclivity 2K18’ on January 24 and 25. This is the 6th year of the festival, which is organised under the leadership and guidance of the President TJ Sawant.

The fest is based on the concept of ‘Levitating livelihood through smart city’.  

Pune: The TSSM’s Padmabhooshan Vasantdada Patil Institute of Technology (PVPIT), Bavdhan, will be organising a two-day annual national level Socio Techno Fest ‘Acclivity 2K18’ on January 24 and 25. This is the 6th year of the festival, which is organised under the leadership and guidance of the President TJ Sawant.

The fest is based on the concept of ‘Levitating livelihood through smart city’.  

20 different events will be organised including cad war, lathe war, robo trekking, ardiuno exhibition, line’m out, buzz the brain, DOTA 2, construction crafting, 3A foot, roborace, robo wrestling, treasure hunt, paper presentation and quiz. The prize money is up to Rs 2.5 lakh. 

Around 3,500 students from different engineering colleges responded in the previous year. And currently, more than 1,500 students have already registered for different competitions and enrollment is still in progress.

Acclivity 2K18 is a combination of various technical events for students from all over the nation. In this fest, opportunities are made available to future engineers in the form of different competitions by means of ‘learn, create, and innovate’. This will also help the students to increase their knowledge. 

Prof Giriraj Sawant, Secretary, TSSM, Prof Rushiraj Sawant, Campus Director, Dr CM Sedani, Principal, Prof MV Khot, Chief Coordinator of the event, and Dr YB Gurav, Head (Media and Publicity), all have appealed the student community from various engineering colleges to enroll their names to the co-coordinators of various events under Acclivity 2K18.
