Pune's temperature to dip this week, predicts IMD

Pune: Nashik recorded the lowest minimum temperature in the State at 12.6 degree Celsius on Sunday. In the coming week, Pune will experience a dip in day temperatures as well.

According to the IMD, day temperatures in Pune will fall to 28 degree Celsius while the minimum temperature will be as low as 11 degree Celsius in this coming week. The sky will remain clear.

According to the IMD, day temperatures in Pune will fall to 28 degree Celsius while the minimum temperature will be as low as 11 degree Celsius in this coming week. The sky will remain clear.

India Meteorological Department (IMD) reported that cold conditions prevailed in the day at isolated places over west Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and west Madhya Pradesh. The lowest minimum temperature across the country was 1.6 degree Celsius at Churu in west Rajasthan.

Dense to very dense fog occurred at isolated places over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. Dense fog was reported at isolated places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand in the morning hours on Sunday.

IMD has further forecast that cold wave conditions are very likely at isolated places over west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab, north Rajasthan and west Madhya Pradesh on December 18. Ground frost is very likely at isolated places over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Also, moderate to dense fog at isolated places is very likely over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura till December 21.
