PUNE: From Republic Day, Puneites can relish Aarey's Energee flavoured milk drink as the company is all set to penetrate the Pune market.

Officials of Aarey and Kutwal Foods Private Limited, the Pune-based firm to whom the rights are outsourced to produce and sell the flavoured milk drink, announced this at a press conference here. Mahesh Mule, Regional Dairy Development Officer said the company is relying on legacy of the 'Energee' brand to penetrate the Pune market. Pune city has over 20 brands in dairy products and Aarey is all set to launch products like ghee, butter milk, flavoured milk, shrikhand, amrakhand, curds and other products.

Manisha Haral, administrator at the Government Milk Scheme said the varied range of products will be available at 177 Aarey booths in the city which will be operational from January 26. Mule said that there are over 1,500 operational Aarey booths in Mumbai which talks about the trust in Aarey's brand name. "The quality, taste, freshness of the brand is assured from us. Prakash Kutwal and Ram Kutwal of Kutwal Foods Private Limited who were present at the press conference said the company is targeting a better supply chain management to keep the products fresh. "Similarly various strategies have been planned to penetrate the market. There was a good demand from Puneites and we are confident of serving the people," said Prakash.

Mule said they had planned expansion of 'Energee' brand in Pune earlier but failed due to technical reasons.
