Pune: A team from the CRPF’s Institute of IED Management, based in Talegaon Dabhade, has left for Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir, where over 42 jawans of the central paramilitary force were martyred in a terrorist attack. The team is expected to reach there early Friday morning, officials said.

Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) have become the weapon of choice for anti-national elements due to easy availability of explosives and accessories.  To curb this menace, the Institute of IED Management was established in 2012.
